GTS Engineering recommend injection regulation to minimize the temperature difference in the heat exchanger.
Specially recommended for the air heat exchangers.
A injection regulation consist of a primary circuit and a secondary circuit.
In this two hydraulic circuits are operating with different amounts of oil and different temperatures.

Example:
Heat requirement of the heat exchanger: 200 kW

In the secondary circuit, the temperature difference in the heat exchanger should be as small as possible.
With a temperature difference of 10 K and 180/170°C results a amount of oil circulation of 34,4 m3/h.

In the primary circuit with a temperature difference of 30 K and 240/210°C results a amount of oil circulation of 11,5 m3/h.

Operating principle:
If the consumer requires heat, the three-way valve opens and a amount of hot oil (240°C) will inject into the secondary circuit and
the same amount of oil leaves the secondary circuit.

Conclusion:

  • very exact temperature regulation
  • No big temperature differences in the heat exchangers, less tensions and leakages.
